昨日、発売開始されたLG UltraFine 5K Displayが、iPad Pro 2018をサポートしていることをお伝えしました

Appleは、新しいサポート文書「Use the LG UltraFine 5K Display with your Mac or iPad Pro」でiPad Pro 2018をUSB-Cを経由して接続した場合、超微細5Kは60Hzで3840×2160の4K解像度に制限されていると記しています

You can use the LG UltraFine 5K Display at a resolution of 3840 x 2160 at 60Hz on these devices:

• MacBook introduced in 2015 or later
• Mac computers with Thunderbolt 2 ports using the Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 adapter
• iPad Pro with USB-C

フルの5K解像度（60Hzで5120 x 2880）で利用するには以下となっています

• iMac Pro introduced in 2017
• iMac introduced in 2017 or later
• Mac mini introduced in 2018
• MacBook Pro introduced in 2016 or later
• MacBook Air introduced in 2018 or later
